WSP has been commissioned to produce an advisory report on Historic Englands Future engagement with Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). The importance of ICH is internationally recognised, and many public bodies in England have already been actively engaging with the topic. To date Historic England has had indirect involvement and have yet to integrate ICH into its routine activities. The purpose of the project is to advise Historic England on how it can capitalise on organisational knowledge to engage appropriately and effectively in the development of thinking and activity related to ICH and importantly identifying any risks or impacts of doing so.
