The grant award is to help implement the project to invest £14.185m to convert an existing batch manufacturing asset at the AstraZeneca Macclesfield Campus into a facility to house a continuous processing platform. This asset will be used to allow continuous manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for clinical trials and accelerate development prior to launch.
