As part of the next phase of the rough sleeping COVID response, LAs have been asked to move people out of theemergency accommodation into more settled and permanent options. As part of this, they will need to continue toprovide health services, including drug andalcohol treatment, to this cohort.The MHCLG have identified 42 'Taskforce priority areas', that have the highest number of rough sleepers in emergencyaccommodation, and they will be providing intensive support to these areas. Ministers have agreed that the £23m thatwill come over to PHE this yearcan be allocated to these areas in order to provide additional capacity to provide ongoing drug and alcohol treatment topeople as an integral part of their move on plans, so this is the focus of the 2020/21 funding.

The purpose of this grant award is designed to help alleviate the financial pressure many destination management organisations (DMOs) in England are currently facing as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The Scheme will help to continue paying for those employees who have a critical role to play in communicating and engaging with tourism businesses during the current COVID-19 outbreak who would have otherwise been furloughed.

This measure is the primary Agri-environment-climate funding for England in delivering the Rural Development programme environmental land management priorities and builds on the agri-environment Countryside Stewardship and Environmental Stewardship schemes offered under the previous RD programme. The measure funds activities intended to deliver environmental land management priorities contributing to Englands Biodiversity 2020 goals and legal obligations under the Habitats, Birds and Water Framework Directives and soil commitments made in the Natural Environment White Paper and increase resilience of wildlife, habitats and ecosystems to climate change. Funding is paid according to the payment rate for each option included in the individual agreement, and the area/length/number of the commitment selected and is based on income foregone and additional costs. Agreements can be 5 year multi annual commitments with the option of annual extensions for a further two years. 10 year commitments or longer will be offered in cases where an exception is clearly justified.
